They actually get a lot of people to pay on old payday loans. If you apply for a payday loan, car loan or credit card third party companies get your information and so do these people. I actually had a payday loan in 2009 but didn't pay it off in full until 2012. I was emailed and den in regular mail my paid in full letter with the original payday loan companies information. The company that contacted me in 2012 was a debt collection company with an address and phone number I was able to get from information and online. When I told that to the woman who called me from this 662-223-3074 number she said they'd note it in their system. I offered to fax my paid in full letter to them but she wouldn't give me her companies name.

Automated message:

"This message is intended for _______ (name stated with robotic voice). We are processing an order in regards to a _______ (robotic voice again) that has been filed against you. I have been "retained" to schedule service at either your residence or place of business (which, is harassment - by the way). If you have any questions or would like to avoid further action you can call 662-223-3074. When calling reference Case No. ________ (robotic voice). Good luck to you."

Received automated call indicating the same as originally posted. When calling back, they claim they have an order for judgement and a writ of garnishment ready to file, but can't seem to provide any information on what court the action was filed in. When questioned about the validity, they kept repeating "So are you going to dispute this in court?" and eventually disconnected the call. Repeated calls back and attempts to speak with a "manager" have been a joke. This has SCAM written all over it.
